Education through sports: our school provision
Providing education through sports is one of the most effective ways to equip children with the skills they need to grow into healthy, happy and thriving adults.
Delivering education through sports across the North East
Dynamic Lifestyle in conjunction with SportsCool provides fun, safe and enriching sports education for primary-aged children across County Durham and North East.

Year-round sport support
We deliver curricular, extra-curricular and physical education activities during term time and during school holidays:
- Breakfast clubs
- Afterschool clubs
- Holiday camps
- In-school PE support
Why Dynamic Lifestyle?
We believe sport and education go hand in hand, giving children an opportunity to learn about the importance of activity, health and nutrition in fun and engaging ways.
A launchpad to a healthy life
By engaging children in fun physical activity, you not only improve their health, self-esteem and confidence, you also help instill a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.
Nutritional education
A healthy and balanced diet is key to an active life and we will deliver engaging nutritional education through our sports clubs, aimed at encouraging healthy eating habits.
Expert coaching staff
Activities at our clubs and camps are led by our partners at SportsCool Durham, coaches who specialise in delivering sports to primary school children in the region.
Activities for all
We understand that not every child enjoys or likes traditional sports such as football or netball, which is why we have developed an extensive portfolio of different sessions to engage all children.
Our partnership with SportsCool Durham
We work with SportsCool Durham to deliver our education through sports programme across the North East.
SportsCool Durham is a sports coaching company specialising in delivering various sports to primary school-aged children across the area.
Established in 2008, SportsCool helps hundreds of schools to deliver high quality PE lessons by leading sports sessions and up-skilling lots of staff simultaneously.
Since 2021, they have also been part of Durham County Council Fun and Food Program, delivering Multi Sports Holiday Clubs to eligible Free School Meal (FSM) children, socially vulnerable children and families affected by the cost-of-living crisis in the local area.
Tightening of the funding imposed by the DfE has meant families that aren't eligible for FSM but are affected by such things like the cost-of-living crisis no longer qualify for a free place on the holiday clubs.
Many families in the area don't qualify for FSM but rely on the services that have been provided by SportsCool over the last 3 years.
By partnering with SportsCool, we aim to plug the gap that has been caused by the changes and provide families with the same access to holiday clubs as eligible FSM children.
